This new series, Special Forces: world’s toughest test, takes things to the next level by sending 16 celebrities to the Jordanian desert to compete in a series of emulated special forces challenges. Fox’s unscripted reality show is based on the UK program SBS Who Dares Win, which has been broadcast since 2015. The series tosses celebrities into the wilderness and puts them through a set of mimicked special forces training challenges.
For the most part, this is not a sexy or romantic experience for these celebs. They have to learn how to withstand the elements of the desert, which is not something they’re used to. They also have to endure constant verbal abuse from the staff sergeants who are trained to rip them apart.
Ultimately, it’s a very intense show, and one that’s sure to draw attention from the media. But it could be a long journey for some of these stars. They might not make it to the end of their 10 days, and they’re likely to suffer some physical injuries in the process.
